Privacy Policy

1. Why This Policy Exists

Madness Lab streams Madness Lab through a lightweight embed so you can jump into the chaos without installing anything. Because we operate a lightweight platform, we collect only the information we need to keep the game stable, measure performance, and respond to support requests. This document outlines what we gather, how we use it, and the options you have.

2. Information We Collect

We do not ask for player logins or sell personal profiles. The only data we log is:

  • Anonymous analytics (browser type, device, country/region)
  • Crash data or console errors that help us fix bugs inside the Madness Lab embed
  • Support messages you send voluntarily via email

Analytics is processed in aggregate so we can understand which rooms players reach, how long a run lasts, and which pages need faster asset delivery. None of this data allows us to identify you personally.

3. How We Use This Data

  • Optimize loading speed for the Madness Lab embed across desktop and mobile
  • Balance difficulty by tracking average survival time in each lab room
  • Respond to player requests and troubleshoot reported issues
  • Detect abuse, attacks, or exploits that could impact other players

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Our site uses a very small set of cookies/local storage flags to remember your preferred minion skins, audio volume, and comfort settings. You can block cookies in your browser and the game will still run, but you may lose custom control profiles between sessions. We never use marketing pixels or sell cookie data.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on secure hosting, analytics, and crash-reporting partners to keep Madness Lab fast. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use the data for their own marketing. Links to external portals hosting Madness Lab are maintained for convenience—review their policies separately before playing there.

6. Security & Retention

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to raw analytics or support emails is limited to the tiny Madness Lab operations team. Crash logs are retained for roughly 30 days unless needed longer for an active investigation, after which they are permanently deleted.

7. Children’s Privacy

Madness Lab targets a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes their child has shared information with us, contact our team and we will delete it immediately.

8. Updates

We may revise this privacy policy when we add new features or partners. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Contact
